Below are dogs that we have bred that have earned a spot on our brags page. Not all our dogs are on this page. Dogs that we own, but have not bred are pictured on our girls and stud dogs pages with information on everything they have won. This page is just for dogs bred by us. Some are owned by us, others are owned by dedicated people who have helped us achieve many goals. Thanks to all the judges, owners and people that have helped these dogs obtain a spot on our brags page.
If you have a dog from us, and you'd like a brag posted her about him/her please email it to me at dreamwgsd@yahoo.com
We are very proud of all the dogs bred here at White Stone Kennels. We try to keep this page updated, we have more yet to ad as we have time. Send us pictures and updates!

Here is are Vanna only just still a pupp with my two year old son! She is already a wonderful dog that are family loves so much and she has really settled in already. She is almost perfect which is really strange to us because she is already potty trained and only chews on the toys she know she's supposed to. I take her everywhere I go and when I was at petco the other day someone there said, wow that dog should be a show dog. I started to laugh and said well she has some really awesome blood lines. People comment on her beauty all the time and my babysitter that watches my kids said that Vanna looks like a dog that you would see in a magazine. She really is a very intelligent dog too. I can't imagine how she's will be like when she's all grown up. I just thought I would write and brag about our little girl. I just think you did a fab job on breeding your dogs. I went ahead and put the contract in the mail because I just didn't ever get to scan that. You should have it in a couple day's. As soon as she's old enough to spay I will because I need to get my golden retriever done and I will just have them done at the same time. Oh by the way I hope you like her name! Vanna Vom White Stone.
He’s here and doing well. Looks like a great dog. We love him and will probably have a few questions from time to time.
Keep breeding, we will want another in a year or 2.
Thanks,
Jeff
The baby arrived perfectly! We left the terminal and went right away to find some lawn for him to stretch out on. In the car I had him in my lap and he slept most of the way. When we got home he was thrilled with our dog Zack and immediately began chasing him around. Zack was not amused! Took him out to the park where he walked for 30-40 feet a few times and then just got tuckered out. He and Jeff and Zack are now napping on the bed. Neighbors have been stopping over and tomorrow night is his “meet and greet” with all the family.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are over-the-moon in love
Christina

Callie,

Moki and I made it safely back to Vermont Sunday afternoon. I was able to take the morning flight and was able to bring her in the cabin with me in a soft sided in flight approved carrier. The Continental staff was great…but I think that is because Moki was so cute. She did great on the plane rides…she slept to New York and with the exception of a little motion sickness barf did great on her way to Burlington.
I have attached some photos of her first afternoon at our house. She continues to be settling in and adjusting with her new friends.
I will keep you posted on her progress.
Thanks again!
Mark

We just wanted to send pics of our beloved Robin Hood 10 months and say Merry Christmas as he is our gift this year. He is just wonderful. See pics. and thank you again. Terese and Arianna

Wanted you to know Sabrine was doing fine and I had her spayed on Monday. She's a little sore but it hasn't slowed her down to much. As you can see from the picture she has turned into quite a beautiful shepherd. I tell her she's in her terrible twos, but really she's doing quite well. Just wanted you to know how she's getting along. Sandi

We don't even know where to start on complementing this puppy. He has
already settled in and is playing with us and the other dogs. He didn't miss
a beat, or a meal! His temperament is everything we hoped for and he is so
much like Zack. He is absolutely gorgeous and has very nice conformation.
I can't tell you how thrilled we are. I think we even feel guilty! He is so
nice and I can't believe you still had him.
Please thank your husband for the crack of dawn run the airport as well!
Time to tuck my crew in, talk to you soon. :)
Cheryl
hi callie!
just wanted to pop in with a quick update. robin is 4 months old now and
every day we notice him becoming more and more beautiful. we think he looks
a lot more like his mother (reese) than afro as his features are all so very
soft. he really is a sweetheart. loves new people and just especially
loves being around myself and the family. so much so that we just couldnt
bear to crate him- he sleeps at the foot of my bed at night and knows that
when we go to the bedroom its time to settle down and sleep. he's really
great about it. we all love him to death. he has brought us closer together
as a family, and he has brought many-a-smile to my father's (who has been
battling cancer for the past six years) face.
we still cant thank you enough for helping to bring this gentle little lamb
of a puppy into our lives and into our hearts.
thanks again.
arianna

Thanks for the wonderful work you have done with the breed. We love her.
Van and Karen Backeris
P.S. She has turned into quite the ball dog like her mother Disney.

Hi. My name is Nikki and my dog Frost is from your March 5th litter. Frost is doing very well, although he appears to be in his testing boundaries stage. He likes to jump up on and eat everything!! I am actually writing to receive some advice about this. No matter how we try, we can't seem to keep him entertained enough. I know we were told not to exercise him too much at a young age, and we have been keeping to that limit. The difficulty is trying to find a way to release his excess energy without exercising him so much as to cause him hip damage. Do you have any ideas of ways we can stimilate his mind and body without going on long walks/runs? We would appreciate any advice you can give us.
I have attached a couple of pictures, unfortunately I don't have any more recent photos uploaded to my computer. We hope everything is well with you. We get constant comments on how beautiful Frost is, and we definitely agree! Thanks again.
Take care,
Nikki

Here are some photos of the rainbow collared pup we got from you in march.

Reese/Afro Puppy "Robin Hood"

Callie thank you so much- "black collar pup" - now called "Robin" (ie: Robin Hood) is beautiful, sweet, quiet, respectful and so smart. (We started teaching him to sit today. He's easily distracted as a curious puppy would be, but he picked it up in about 5 minutes flat.) He was on the front porch all day either romping or snoozing or just cuddling. We've been taking him out regularly so he's yet to have an accidnet (hoping to keep it that way) And when we take him in at night he goes right in his crate with his "froggy" and has been quiet for the most part- there was a little bit of whining last night as it was his first day experiencing a lot of new things and he had a long day- his flight got delayed until 5:50 and so we didnt end up getting him home until nearly 7:30pm. anyway, we just really wanted to thank you for raising such beautiful and sweet puppies. its obvious you can tell he comes from a great background and was well taken care of. he's been great - nothing but a joy - and we love him already. thank you again arianna and terese |

My little fluffy puppy is all grown up. We are still waiting for her brain
to catch up with the rest of her! LOL.

Hi Callie, Just now had a chance to read your guide. I finished Oprah's trainer's book and the Cornell Vet School puppy book right before we got Lacey. Both were good, but your guide was very well done and helpful. Because of my work with the local Humane Society, I've read a bit and counseled quite a few adopters, and you really included a lot of good information. I did learn something new - short lead walk (5 min.). I'll be careful to keep to that. Lacey is just wonderful. She does well in her crate, and generally can make it through the entire night. Her house training is going along extremely well. I've been really impressed with her level personality. We're working hard to expose her to a lot of people and children, so I can use her as a therapy dog in a few years. She's doing really well with my 4 year old and her little friends. We went to the vet the day after Lacey arrived. My vet is super critical, very picky, and she couldn't find anything wrong. Commented that she couldn't believe how calm and "normal" she was. She thinks GSDs are typically a bit freaky. Although, she does like my GSD, Kyra. Today we went for a fun vet visit... she took treats and hopped up on the scale. My trainer is the receptionist, and she couldn't believe how great she was doing. Said that dogs never get on the scales themselves. Lacey laid down and ate treats on it... I also took her to another friend who trains dogs and pet sits for an afternoon visit last week as she's going to keep Lacey when my family goes to the beach for a few days (I didn't want my college pet sitter to have to be responsible for a puppy with the rest of my menagerie). Anyway, my friend has a therapy dog and volunteers for the Delta Society, and thinks that she has great potential. She and her husband loved her. Anyway, we're settling in nicely, and wanted to give you an update. As you can tell, I'm thrilled that I happened upon your website and was lucky enough to get one of your puppies. Thanks again! I'll send you pictures in the next few days. Beth |
Roxy From our Faith Afro litter. |
Hi Callie, Hope things are going well! Just thought I'd drop you a quick note to say that Roxy most definitely made herself home here. She and Ace get along very well, and she is a bright little puppy!!! That little girl is quite the diva and loves an audience!! She walks nicely on a leash and behaves in public (although at home is another story sometimes). In other news, we will be moving to Hawaii this summer. Unfortunately, it looks like Roxy will spend about a month in quarantine, but I'm looking into boarding her at a kennel here, where they also train puppies. Attached are some pictures of Roxy at the beach yesterday. Thanks again! Mandy |
Odin From our DisneyAfro litter. |
Hi, We just wanted to pass on to you two fairly recent pictures of Odin (White Stone Viking God) – son of Afro man and Disney. Today, he is 7 months old and full of energy. His demeanor and temperament is great. We are still working on his “enthusiasm” when we come home or have company and his tendency to get distracted at times. However, we recently passed Basic Obedience class with flying colors and have longer term goals of earning a Good Citizen Dog certificate. We have been so happy to have him that we recently decided to get a companion for him. Last week we brought home an 8 week old female WGSD and they have been inseparable since. I look forward to many happy years with Odin. Thank you for breeding such a nice dog. Sincerely, Rolf Christensen and Nicole Kulp |

She arrived safe and sound. I am so impressed by your breeding. Your dogs are truly amazing. I have never had this quality of German Shepherd in my life. I took some pictures of her in San Diego. I will send them to you if you are interested. I made the lady (Diane) at Northwest Airlines look at the pictures of the puppy on your webpage. She lives close by you and wants to go by the kennels. She also was impressed by your puppies. Thanks again. Maria |

Hi Callie,
Diamond is doing great. Everybody loves her. It's so kool to see her on the wgsdca Shows website.I plan to put her in the Xonia Shows the end of May.Do you plan to go to the shows?
She likes to watch T V and look at herself in the mirror. When we got back to my sisters house in Mauston, we were walking by her private lake when Diamond started to go into the water.Just her two front paws got a little wet, and my sister and I started to laugh. Apparently when we started to laugh at her, she got really excited and took a running leap, jumping over a few small rocks and ended up in the water about 2 feet from the rocks on the shoreline. She went completely under water, came up,turned around and started swimming back to shore, where I grabbed her collar and helped her out of the water. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. She proceeded to tear around the yard while my sister and I laughed uncontrollably. My sister did take a few pictures. I forgot to bring my camera Down to the Lake. When I get the pictures I will e-mail them to you.
I will keep you informed.
Thanks Callie
Patty

| Zena (Candy/Atlas) Owned by: Mike & Celeste |
Hi Callie! Happy Easter to you and all!! Just thought I'd drop a line to say everything is great with Zena. She's already fetching a ball (copying Dakota), sitting and well crate-trained (except an accident now and then). She's watching everything Coda does, and beginning to pick on the rest of the cats. She gained about 3 pounds since her arrival a week and a half ago, now is 12.5 #. We can see how she is growing by comparison to Confetti. They were about the same size when she arrived. I was completing the registration for the microchip, and one section had the Vet's info. Is this the same as on the health certificate? I thought I would check rather than leave it blank or put the wrong info in. Let me know when you have a chance. Thanks... Mike |
